While on my favorite site Pinterest I came across a Momma & Me Journal.
I love this idea & am going to make mine & Chloie's journal tomorrow!
I can't wait to give it to her. I think she is going to love this.
Like the other moms that have done this
"I’m hoping to gain some treasured insight into my daughter and what goes on in that sweet head of hers. As well as strengthen our bond, and even give us some “1 on 1” time with each other."

Rag Curls

My little princesses were blessed with beautiful silky straight hair. 

Chloie of course wishes for curly hair. Claire is to little to care but insists on doing everything her big sissy does!

So last night i cut up some material into strips and put rag curls in their hair.

Dancing Queen

Today was my dancing queen's 5th dance recital!

Chloie Room Decor Ideas

Now it's time to think Room Decor! 1st off is a lamp. Chloie likes these Pottery Barn Lamps

So this weekend i'll be searching for the perfect shade & base to create the perfect lamp!Then i was thinking she needs a mirror and memo tiles to go above her desk. Maybe something like this:

Our next idea is to make some Tissue Poms & hang.

Chloie's Room Redo Day 2

Today's post is all about the desk redo!

We started with this $4 desk

With the help of this Paint & Craft Bond Adhesive

and these fabrics

We created this

 

And one of my Happy Ladybug who loves her desk!

Now to find some hardware for the drawers.

I'm thinking maybe these

and not sure about a chair any suggestions?

Chloie's Room Redo Day 1

So 14 months ago i posted that my sweet ladybug was begging for a room redo!

See this post

So we this weekend she got a full size bed & the daybed went to Claire's room.

On our bedding shopping spree this is what she picked out:

Reversible Comforter Zebra on one side Pink Cheetah Print on the other!

Then while at a local thrift store i found this treasure for $4

I plan on painting it white & doing some decoupage on the top & drawers!

Birthday Girl!

My Sweet Girl Chloie just celebrated her 7th birthday!

Since January here in South TX has very unpredictable weather we decided to have a bowling party!

This is the first time we didn't have her party here at home but i think it turned out great & everyone had fun.
