Let's Celebrate!

I wanted to do this last year but since i was very pregnant ,tired and out of town i didn't get to. I'm having an 8 day Giveaway to celebrate my birthday! Starting March 1st - 16th. March 1st will be the first giveaway the following day i will draw a winner and post the winner the  next day another give away and so on! Tomorrow look for the Eight Day Give Away Button and rules!

Hearts, Hearts & more Hearts

Valentines Day was a little different this year. 

My honey is out of town working so i spent it with my 2 princesses!

We had Heart Shaped Pizza's (thanks Papa John's) for lunch

 

Then i made a Heart Shaped Cookie Cake for Chloie to decorate.

I purchased the Heart Shaped pan at Walmart and filled it with premade cookie dough.

Placed it on the red pan below bought at walmart.

Put the pink icing on it and let Chloie decorate it!

100th Day Ideas

Tomorrow Chloie will be celebrating her 100th day of school. 100th day of school projects were optional. She tells me she wants to glue 100 pieces of colored string to paper. So that is what we did. As soon as i can get the pic off my camera i will upload it. Then she decides she wants something special to wear for  the 100th day of school. So i searched the web for ideas and finally decided on a t-shirt with 100 things on it. Stay tuned for the pic tomorrow!

Got Power?

My dear husband Cory is off on storm work again. 

I'm thankful that this year the ice storms hit later than usual and he was able to be here for Chloie's birthday.

He hasn't been here for the past 2 birthdays due to the storms.

Just wanted to say thank you to him and all the crews out there helping to restore power.

Please pray they are kept safe in this icy mess & are home soon.

Beef Tips

My dear friend Rhonda shared this recipe w/me and i have it in the crockpot as i type.

It smells so good i can't wait for dinner!

Directions:  Dump Stew Meat & Soups in Crockpot.

Stir together

I cooked on high for 1 1/2 hours then turned to low till dinner time!

Will serve over rice & have corn, green beans and rolls to go with it!

I'll take a pic when it is served!

A few posts back I asked some advice about how to decorate fill up this wall.

I received lots of great ideas and opinions.

Then i came across two blog posts that gave me inspiration for a photo wall Julie & Shanty 2 Chic.

So i printed out my priceless family pics that Viv took & picked up some frames at Wal-Mart.
